Seinfeld Lockdown Dissertation.

Leon, played by Joey Bada$$ in Mr Robot Season 2 deconstructs Seinfeld with a fervour that only the confined could bring.
We find out later on that Joey and Eliot's lunchtime chats in a diner are a conceit. They are in fact both doing time in prison. The unreliable narrator strikes again. Anyone who has seen it knows that Mr Robot is more than a little touched by fight club. Hence the PTSD brought on by over reading IKEA catalogues and watching Seinfeld. This fiction within a fiction.
Like what is reality anyway man?
Well I'll go out on a limb and say reality is not Seinfeld with its canned laughter and upper east side lawyer comedy.
Put its wall of box sets on one side and 'friends' on the other and you have a soma barrier against reality.
Your friends laughing along like drains gurgling to Seinfeld are being indoctrinated into the loving of a fake reality. The struggling Jewish people in American culture. Who are not privileged at all.
Above criticism and above the law of gentiles. Put a microphone in Jerry Seinfelds face and ask him about the burning of Palestinian children with phosphorous bombs? And he will no doubt refer you to Larry David the super intelligent writer of Seinfeld and also Curb Your Enthusiasm. Once the Seinfeld babies have been put to bed. Larry and his gang take us on a down and dirty tour of the Jewish experience of living in the snakepit of L.A. a world that their tribe created. Hollywood Babylon.
Is Seinfeld worth watching whilst doing time in a maximum security prison?
If you merged the two realities of Rykers Island and Seinfeld you would no doubt be that loony on the show everyone avoids. There you are covered in tattoos. Pumped up from lifting weights. A sissy lover sat on your knee. A cursory glance at you would have you wearing nordic runes on your Hugo Boss uniform driving the choo choo train to Auschwitz. And that's even before you give your informed.opinions on AIPAC and The ADL. and their power behind the throne.
So Sam Esmail and Rami Malek the creators of Mr Robot. Both of Egyptian descent. Have Leon single handedly take out a white power gang to protect.Eliot in prison. Turns out Leons a hitman for the Chinese dark army. That I can believe.
Is Christian Slater trying to resurrect his nineties badass persona in Mr Robot?
Who can forget Heathers and his turn as an anonymous DJ in Pump Up the Volume? Inspiring his schoolmates to burn down the school to the sound of Henry Rollins doing Kick Out the Jams with Bad Brains. Slater seems to have stolen Eliots anonymous mask and it's too tight on his swollen melon. He wants to keep the dream of being a revolutionary alive but we no longer communicate with CB radios.
Time to ram raid the local Radio Shack in the mystery machine. Let the kids fill up the van with some deadly computer hardware. Maybe go to a gun shop next for some IRL protection. Then it's back to the bat cave. The mask mixed with sweat causes Slater to swerve in the road. He crashes into a toy shop. Taking out the steel shutter. Racks of green slime explode through the windscreen. Spiders, dinosaurs, glitter, and nerf bullets stick to the urban ram raiders faces. They scream. Slater rips off his mask and lights up his cigarette. A security guard arrives with a super soaker water pistol spraying Slaters cigarette until it turns to mush. There is no canned laughter. Your criminal associates run into the night carrying computer gear and assault rifles. Slater tries to run but gets tasered. When he comes round he's in lock up listening to two well built Jamaicans with dredlocks arguing over which was the best episode of 'friends'.
